Accessibility
Dog Friendly Co. wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control, zoom or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Our website is partially conformant: some parts do not fully meet the standard yet, and we are working on them.
What we have worked on
- We have improved keyboard operation and visible focus across the shop.
- We have updated pop-ups and menus so they take focus, close with the Escape key and return you to where you were.
- We have added visible labels to form fields on our own pages, with error messages that are announced and linked to their field.
- We have added text alternatives to product photos and corrected colour-contrast issues found in our reviews.
- We have added captions and transcripts to videos with speech, and pause controls to looping videos and slideshows.
Our site was reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA in September and October 2026, and we have been fixing the issues found. We retest the site periodically and after significant changes.
Known limitations
- Customer review photos: photos that customers upload with their reviews are described only as "[name] review photo". Some contain text or details that are not described. This content comes from our customers through our review provider.
- Third-party tools: some features come from other companies, such as review widgets, live chat, search suggestions and payment options. We fix what we can on our side and report the rest to the provider.

Tell us which page you were on and what happened. We aim to reply within 24 hours. If you can't complete a purchase online, contact us and we will help you place your order.
